Confirmations at the Abbey
The Abbey congregation welcomed Bishop Nicholas, the Bishop of Grantham, on 30 April 2023 to celebrate the Eucharist and to baptise one candidate and confirm five. Bishop Nicholas mixed with congregants after the service over coffee and cakes.

Abbey welcomes Walsingham pilgrims
Bourne Abbey welcomed the Pilgrim Cross (northern route) pilgrims on the Monday of Holy Week. Twenty-three pilgrims enjoyed a Lenten lunch of sandwiches and home-made soup in the church hall. Fr. Chris them celebrated Mass for them before they continued on their way. They will reach the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham on Good Friday, meeting up with those taking other Pilgrim Cross routes.
