The Abbey’s informal gardening group meets regularly on a Tuesday morning between 1000 and 1100 to keep the area around the church free of inappropriate growth. On the last Tuesday of the month it is joined by our friends from the Bourne U3A gardening group; this meeting is from 1400 to 1500 and again refreshments are available afterwards. The groups have cleared of weeds the border along the pedestrian path in Church walk, and planted bulbs and other flowers for the enjoyment of all who walk by.
